Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land. Visit the historic church and viewpoint. Next, visit Shoubak Castle (3 hrs), a 12th-century Crusader fort. End the day with a drive to Petra (30 mins), arriving in the late afternoon.
Enjoy a guided tour of Petra, entering via the Siq to the iconic Treasury. Explore key sites like the Roman Theatre, Street of Façades, and Royal Tombs. In the afternoon, explore further on your own—perhaps climb to the High Place of Sacrifice or the Monastery (800 steps). Later, drive to Wadi Rum (2 hrs) for a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars.
Explore Wadi Rum’s dramatic desert on a 2-hour 4WD safari, with an optional camel ride. Later, transfer to your Dead Sea resort (4 hrs.) and enjoy leisure time floating in the salty waters or trying therapeutic mud baths.
