Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Upon arrival, our representative will
meet and transfer you to the hotel. A short briefing will be provided regarding the trek plan,
preparation, and permits.
Optional: If time allows, a guided city tour of Kathmandu Valley UNESCO sites can be arranged.
We begin the journey with a drive or short flight to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city
surrounded by the Annapurna range. The rest of the day is free to relax by Phewa Lake or
explore the city.
A short drive from Pokhara takes us to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. From here, we
begin walking through villages, river trails, and stone staircases leading to Tikhedhunga.
Overnight stay in a teahouse.
Today is a steady uphill climb through rhododendron forests and traditional settlements. The
trail includes Ulleri village with long stone steps. After around 5 to 6 hours of walking, we reach
Ghorepani.
Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise view over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After
returning to Ghorepani for breakfast, we continue the trek towards Tadapani through beautiful
forest trails. Overnight stay at Tadapani.
We descend and ascend through forests and villages, reaching Chhomrong, a major Gurung
settlement. After a break, we continue down towards the Modi Khola valley to reach Dovan for
overnight stay.
We gradually ascend through bamboo and alpine forests. The valley narrows as we approach
higher altitude. Depending on pace and conditions, we either stay around Machhapuchhre Base
Camp or proceed closer to Annapurna Base Camp region for early adjustment.
We reach Annapurna Base Camp, located at 4,130 meters, surrounded by a spectacular
amphitheater of peaks including Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and others. The
entire day is spent exploring viewpoints, glacier surroundings, and enjoying the high Himalayan
environment. Overnight stay at ABC.
We begin our descent through the same valley, passing Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Dovan.
The walk is longer downhill but manageable. We reach Bamboo for overnight stay.
We continue descending through forest trails and reach Jhinu Danda, famous for natural hot
springs. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the hot spring bath near the river.
A short downhill walk takes us to Siwai, followed by a drive back to Pokhara. The rest of the day
is free for relaxation, shopping, or lakeside activities.
We return to Kathmandu by flight or drive depending on your preference. The day is free for
leisure, last-minute shopping, or international departure.
