Your day begins with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Budhanilkantha Temple, the gateway to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park.
After entering the park, begin hiking through peaceful forest trails surrounded by pine, oak, bamboo, and rhododendron forests.
Reach Nagi Gompa, a quiet Buddhist nunnery with beautiful views over Kathmandu Valley, before continuing the ascent toward Shivapuri Peak.
From the summit, enjoy panoramic Himalayan views including Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and surrounding mountain ranges while enjoying your packed lunch.
After spending time at the viewpoint, descend through the forest trail and drive back to Kathmandu, arriving in the late afternoon.
