Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Thamel. After check-in, you can rest or explore the lively tourist area of Kathmandu.
In the evening, a detailed trek briefing will be provided covering the itinerary, safety guidelines, altitude preparation, and final arrangements.
⏱ 8–10 hours drive
A long scenic drive takes us from Kathmandu to Chame via Besisahar. The journey follows rivers, waterfalls, terraced hills, and gradually enters the high Himalayan region. As the altitude rises, views of snow-capped peaks become more frequent.
Overnight stay at Chame.
⏱ 5–6 hours trek
The trekking begins along the Marsyangdi River through dense pine forests, suspension bridges, and traditional villages. The valley opens up with views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.
Upper Pisang offers a beautiful ridge settlement with strong Tibetan cultural influence.
⏱ 6–7 hours trek
Today we follow the high scenic route via Ghyaru and Ngawal. The trail provides stunning panoramic views of Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak.
Passing ancient monasteries, chortens, and prayer flags, we gradually descend into Manang, the main hub of the region.
⏱ 2–3 hours short hike / 5–7 hours optional hike
A rest and acclimatization day to adjust to altitude. Short hikes include Gangapurna Lake or Ice Lake viewpoint. You may also explore Braga Monastery and attend altitude awareness sessions.
Rest and hydration are essential.
⏱ 5–6 hours trek
We leave the main Annapurna Circuit and enter the remote Tilicho Valley. The trail becomes quieter and more rugged, with dry alpine landscapes and fewer settlements.
The environment becomes more isolated as we gain elevation.
⏱ 4–5 hours trek
A challenging trail through rocky terrain and landslide-prone sections leads us to Tilicho Base Camp. The route offers dramatic views of Tilicho Peak, glaciers, and steep mountain walls.
⏱ 7–8 hours total trek
An early morning start takes us to Tilicho Lake. The ascent takes 3–4 hours, followed by time at the lake, and a descent back to Base Camp.
The lake is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and is one of the highest lakes in the world.
⏱ 5–6 hours trek
We descend and reconnect with the main Annapurna Circuit trail. The route passes alpine pastures, yak grazing lands, and open valleys.
Overnight stay at Yak Kharka.
⏱ 3–4 hours trek
A short and gradual ascent leads us to Thorong Phedi, the final base before crossing Thorong La Pass.
The rest of the day is spent resting and preparing for the toughest day ahead.
⏱ 8–10 hours trek
We start very early in the morning. The climb to Thorong La Pass takes 4–5 hours, followed by a long descent to Muktinath.
The pass offers incredible Himalayan views and is the highest point of the trek.
⏱ 5–6 hours trek/drive
We descend through Kagbeni and the Kali Gandaki Valley, the deepest gorge in the world.
The landscape becomes dry and windy as we reach Jomsom, a developed mountain town.
⏱ 20–25 minutes flight
A short scenic flight brings us to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free for relaxation by Phewa Lake or exploring cafés and lakeside attractions.
⏱ 25–30 minutes flight OR 6–8 hours drive
We return to Kathmandu either by flight or scenic highway drive. The evening is free for shopping, relaxation, or cultural exploration in Thamel.
⏱ 30–45 minutes transfer to airport
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. End of the Himalayan journey.
